To Preach Or Not To Preach

As a guy who grew up in a strictly religious society, I was told many times that preaching my religion is one of our obligations as God’s servants. It’s just, that I’m not a good religious practitioner. You see, I still occasionally drink, and sometimes I miss my prayer. These “obligations” as my parents taught me make me think about myself repeatedly. To preach a value, you need to practice it by yourself first. At least that’s what everyone told me.

However, I think if you didn’t preach it theologically, such things won’t be an issue. If you don’t have such capabilities, then don’t even try. Otherwise, you might end up like those religious keyboard warriors. That’s why we need necessary pieces of knowledge on that subject to preach to others.

We must share God’s messages. It’s obligated if you’re still believing in God and religion. But, how can we spread the message? How can we show everyone that we shared the true voice? How can we be God’s favorite? Such questions only have one answer; be the example. Just like an exemplary employee in a company. We work for God, and he’s the CEO of this world. Do things that will appease the CEO and make other workers proud of you and the company.

With that said, that wouldn’t be much problem. Show others how you ran the company, in this case, practicing your religion. If you’re not being able to preach them theologically, you still can preach to others with your behavior as a human being.
